All our physiotherapists are chartered and fully registered with the Health Professions Council and between them have a wide variety of training and work experience. Building on this, the clinic specialises in the treatment of sports injuries, neck and back pain. Treatments include manual and exercise therapy, manipulation, mobilisation, massage, electrotherapy and acupuncture

Kim Baxter

Kim Baxter Kim qualified as a Physiotherapist from Sheffield Hallam University in 1998 and completed an MSc in Physiotherapy at Nottingham University in 2006, specialising in manual therapy, rehabilitation of musculo-skeletal problems and sports medicine.

Kim was Physiotherapist for the British Orienteering team for eleven years. In this capacity she worked closely with relevant specialists and was responsible for building long term strength and conditioning programmes to minimise injury and maximise training results. She provided physiotherapy treatment on training camps and at international competitions In 2002 and 2003, Kim provided physiotherapy support to the England Women's Cricket Team during their UK summer tour and the winter Ashes tour to Australia and New Zealand.

She is now physical coach for South Yorkshire Orienteers and also works regularly with Steel City Striders Couch to 5k and 5k to 10k groups.

An active runner, mountain biker and orienteer, Kim competed internationally at Orienteering gaining 4th place in the World Championships in 1999. In 2016 she placed 4th in the Sheffield Half Marathon and was crowned "Queen of the Forest" at the British Long Distance Orienteering Championships.

In 2017 she was third in Midnight Sun Half Marathon in Iceland and was the only woman to finish the Elite course at the Original Mountain Marathon 50th Anniversary event in 18 hours and 33 minutes.

Sally Fawcett

Sally Fawcett Sally qualified as a physiotherapist from Sheffield Hallam University in 2008 and has since worked in private practice treating a range of private and NHS patients across a wide spectrum of ailments including sports injuries.

She is a keen fell and ultra runner racing for Dark Peak Fell Runners. In 2015, 2016 and 2017 she competed for Britain in the Trail World Championships with a best of 27th. In the 2015/16 seasons she had wins at the Lakeland 50, the High Peak 40, the Speyside Way Ultra and was 2nd at the Highland Fling 53 mile ultra, a GB selection race. Since 2016 she has been racing for Team Montane

In 2017 she completed the Bob Graham Round in 19 hours 37 minutes, the 7th fastest time ever by a woman. She also won the Edale Skyline and was second in the Haworth Hobble, a GB selection race. She was 2nd in the Sheffield Half Marathon in 84 minutes 47 seconds.

Prior to taking up trail and ultra running she enjoyed success on the road with bests of 38 mins, 82 mins and 2 hrs 57 mins for 10km, half-marathon and marathon respectively.

Dave Sprot

Dave Sprot Dave qualified as a Physiotherapist from Sheffield Hallam University in 2006 and has worked with Kim Baxter and Associates since then. He is a Senior Physiotherapist in musculo-skeletal injuries at Chesterfield Royal Hospital and is currently doing a Masters in Advancing Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. He works as Physiotherapist with British Orienteering covering internationals. 

He has also worked at an International Volleyball Olympic test series event and at the 2012 Track Cycling World Cup. Even this could not match the experience of working at the athletics during the London Olympics 2012 - he was trackside for many of the key moments including the Men's 10,000m and the Men's 100m final.

Dave represented England at Orienteering and has more recently moved to athletics, competing for Hallamshire Harriers on the track and in cross country, where he is the Club Captain. Personal bests include 1:58.55 for 800m and a win at the Sheffield Hallam 5k Park Run in August 2011.
