Kim Baxter

Kim qualified as a Physiotherapist from Sheffield Hallam University in 1998 and completed an MSc in Physiotherapy at Nottingham University in 2006, specialising in manual therapy, rehabilitation of musculo-skeletal problems and sports medicine.

Kim was Physiotherapist for the British Orienteering team for eleven years and has provided physiotherapy support to the England Women's Cricket Team both at home and on tour. She also works regularly with Steel City Striders ‘Couch to 5k’ and ‘5k to 10k’ groups.

An active runner, orienteer and climber, Kim competed internationally at Orienteering gaining 4th place in the World Championships in 1999. In 2017 she was the only woman to finish the Elite course at the Original Mountain Marathon 50th Anniversary event in 18 hours and 33 minutes.

Sally Fawcett

Sally qualified as a physiotherapist from Sheffield Hallam University in 2008. Sally is also a qualified personal trainer and runs weekly circuit classes for runners.

She is a keen fell and ultra runner. In 2015, 2016 and 2017 she competed for Britain in the Trail World Championships with a best of 27th.

In 2017 she completed the Bob Graham Round in 19 hours 37 minutes, the 7th fastest time ever by a woman. She also won the Edale Skyline and was the second fastest woman in the Sheffield Half Marathon, finishing in 84 minutes 47 seconds.

Charlie Baker

Charlie qualified alongside Sally at Sheffield Hallam University in 2008. Prior to training he spent a couple of years in Canada becoming a ski instructor. After training he spent five years specialising in musculoskeletal injuries and chronic pain, before moving to Sheffield and Middlewood road as Academy physio for Sheffield Wednesday. At Wednesday he worked his way up the physio ranks before finally being promoted to first team physio. A highlight was running onto the pitch in front of 21,000 people at West Bromwich Albion.

In addition to his career in physiotherapy, Charlie is also an avid runner. He has been running on the roads for many years, participating in races ranging from 5K to marathon distances. One of his proudest achievements was winning the Chesterfield half marathon in 2017. In recent years he has turned his attention to the fells and championship races. Alongside his passion for running, he has also been practicing yoga regularly for many years.
